Israel and Palestine Football Associations discuss modalities to facilitate the movement of persons and goods

         Following the recent meeting of the FIFA Task Force Israel-Palestine, the Israel and Palestine Football Associations held today, 23 September, a working meeting at the Home of FIFA in Zurich to discuss modalities between both associations to facilitate the movement of persons and goods for football purposes in and out of and within Palestine. Israel Football Association (IFA) President Avi Luzon, Palestinian Football Association (PFA) President Jibril Al Rajoub, and representatives from FIFA, AFC and UEFA took part in this meeting.

       Both associations agreed on the principle of a mechanism under the umbrella of FIFA, including the appointment of two liaison officers between the two federations to the relevant authorities on each side, who shall report to FIFA in order to facilitate the movement of persons and goods.

The establishment of the FIFA Task Force Israel-Palestine was announced by FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter in early July, following the mandate he received during the 63rd FIFA Congress and his subsequent trip to the Middle East.

           Setelah pertemuan baru-baru ini FIFA Task Force Israel - Palestina, Asosiasi Sepakbola Israel dan Palestina yang diadakan hari ini , 23 September 2013, rapat kerja di Rumah FIFA di Zurich untuk membahas modalitas antara kedua asosiasi untuk memfasilitasi pergerakan orang dan barang untuk tujuan sepak bola di dan keluar dari dan dalam Palestina .        Presiden Asosiasi Sepak Bola Israel ( IFA ) Avi Luzon , Asosiasi Sepakbola Palestina ( PFA ) Presiden Jibril Rajoub Al , dan perwakilan dari FIFA , AFC dan UEFA mengambil bagian dalam pertemuan ini . Kedua asosiasi sepakat pada prinsip mekanisme di bawah payung FIFA , termasuk penunjukan dua petugas penghubung antara dua federasi kepada otoritas terkait di setiap sisi , yang akan melaporkan kepada FIFA untuk memfasilitasi pergerakan orang dan barang .            Pembentukan FIFA Task Force Israel - Palestina diumumkan oleh Presiden FIFA Joseph S. Blatter pada awal Juli , mengikuti mandat yang diterimanya selama Kongres FIFA ke-63 dan perjalanan berikutnya ke Timur Tengah .
